Siteimprove is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager in Copenhagen to lead one of our accessibility product teams. You will own delivery, quality, and technical direction, coaching engineers through AI-assisted development while maintaining high standards.

You will partner with Product and Design, review architecture, and ensure rigorous testing and accessibility conformance. The role requires overlap with US Pacific time and occasional travel.

Formación

• Several years leading software engineering teams as their direct manager.
• Built and shipped production software and can read PRs and designs.
• Deep experience in at least one core language; comfortable with others.
• Modern cloud and delivery: AWS, containers and Kubernetes.
• Practical use of AI in the software lifecycle; helped others adopt it.
• Strong partnership with Product; worked with PMs and Designers as peers.
• Clear written and spoken English; explain trade-offs to non-tech audiences.
• Willingness to work a shifted day with US Pacific overlap.

Responsabilidades

• Own delivery for your team and convert roadmaps into realistic plans.
• Lead people: conduct 1:1s, give feedback, recruit, onboard, retain.
• Review code/designs and participate in architecture decisions.
• Coach the team on AI-assisted development and review agent-generated code.
• Set standards for AI-generated work and ensure human accountability.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to align scope and sequencing.
• Work across Platform, AI and other product teams; manage dependencies.
• Protect engineering health by balancing roadmap, defects and technical debt.
• Own quality and operational responsibility including testing and accessibility conformance.
• Occasionally overlap with US Pacific time and travel as needed.
