Job summary

3Shape is expanding its hardware R&D team to turn AI/LLM capabilities into practical engineering tools and workflows in central Copenhagen. You will work with mechanical, electronics, and software groups to deploy AI-enabled assistants and internal services that save time and improve decisions.

The role focuses on applying AI to engineering environments, not building new AI models, and emphasizes secure, maintainable solutions adopted by engineers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience turning AI/LLM capabilities into practical workflows or internal services.
• Hands-on APIs, automation and backend development to connect tools.
• Familiarity with engineering environments and tools (Git, CAD/PLM, databases, data visualization).
• Ability to translate engineer pain points into secure, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI-enabled tools such as chatbots and engineering assistants.
• Prototype, integrate, document, and mature solutions with IT and security teams.
• Connect AI solutions to familiar engineering tools and knowledge sources.
• Identify valuable use cases and promote adoption of tools in daily work.
