emagine is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to lead the implementation of the AI Skills Registry. You will work with AWS-based AI platforms, define APIs, and ensure secure, observable, and scalable architectures.

The role demands 7+ years of software engineering, strong AWS, Python, and API design skills. You will establish CI/CD pipelines and IaC, mentor peers, and collaborate across teams in a financial sector partnership.

emagine is looking for a skilled Senior AI Platform Engineer for our partner in the financial sector.

A Senior AI Platform Engineer with extensive experience in AWS and AI platforms is sought to lead the implementation of the AI Skills Registry, ensuring that technical solutions align with architectural directives and maintain high quality.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation of the AI Skills Registry.


• Build AgentCore and/or Amazon Q integration components.


• Define and implement registry APIs and service interfaces.


• Implement security controls, access management, and auditing capabilities.


• Establish CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.


• Drive technical quality, testing, observability, and operational readiness.


• Review solution designs and provide constructive challenge and implementation recommendations.


• Mentor other developers and support technical decision-making.

Key Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering experience.


• Strong AWS platform experience.


• Python development proficiency.


• API design and development expertise.


• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).


• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.


• Understanding of IAM, OAuth2, OIDC, and cloud security.


• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns.


• Experience with monitoring, observability, and operations.


• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, and MCP (Model Context Protocol).


• Experience in AI Agents and tool orchestration.


• Knowledge of service catalogs and developer platforms.


• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, semantic search, and metadata management.

Nice to Have

• Experience with various AI frameworks and libraries.


• Previous mentoring experience.


• Knowledge of agile methodologies.


• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization.


• Understanding of horizontal scalability principles.

Other Details

• Fulltime assignment


• Location: On Site in Copenhagen, Denmark.


• Work Setup: At least 3 days onsite; Remote work possible within the EU, EEA, or UK.
