Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for AI & Data Platform to lead one or more engineering teams delivering scalable data platforms and AI-enabled capabilities. You will drive execution across data engineering, platform development, and agentic AI enablement to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Based in Copenhagen, you will collaborate with Product, SAP, Infrastructure, and Data teams, own delivery outcomes, engineering quality, and platform reliability while promoting DevOps

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
• Experience leading engineering teams in data platforms, analytics, or AI domains.
• Experience delivering scalable data and platform solutions in enterprise environments.
• Exposure to AI/ML or agentic AI–enabled use cases.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong ownership mindset with focus on outcomes, reliability, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data platforms, data products, and AI-enabled applications.
• Drive adoption of cloud-based data foundations and end-to-end visibility across systems.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of platforms at global scale.
• Grow high-performing teams and enforce engineering standards and practices.
• Collaborate across Product, SAP, Infrastructure, and Data teams beyond reporting lines.
