Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Software Engineer, AI & Data to design, build and scale data and AI-driven applications powering critical business capabilities. You will work across data engineering, platform development, and agentic AI to deliver end-to-end solutions from pipelines to AI-enabled analytics across the enterprise.

You will contribute to scalable data platforms, APIs, and secure backend services, collaborating with product, data, and platform teams to ensure reliable, production-ready

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Computer Science or engineering.
• 2–5 years of software or data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with SQL and ETL/data pipelines.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and backend development.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Interest in AI/ML and building AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered and agentic AI applications; develop APIs, backend services and integrations.
• Build scalable data pipelines and data products to support AI and analytics use cases.
• Enable self-service data access and reporting with governed data consumption.
• Develop scalable, secure backend services to support AI and data apps; ensure CI/CD and observability.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Platform and AI teams for end‑to‑end solutions.
