Job summary

Reel ApS seeks a Software Engineer for billing to own and grow our next-generation energy billing platform. You’ll collaborate with our CTO and the engineering team to ship reliable, scalable backend systems that power monthly customer invoicing.

You will build integrations for new markets, structure financial data for analytics, and develop tooling used by our electricity operations team, while shaping technical direction.

Qualifications

• Shipped production software experience.
• Backend systems in production.
• Experience with billing, payments or financial systems.
• Interest in building reliable, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the billing platform to support new products.
• Build integrations to serve new markets and data insights for analytics.
• Structure financial data for accurate customer reporting.
• Create tooling for the electricity operations team to automate workflows.
• Contribute to technical direction and code reviews.
