Job summary

Microchip Denmark is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Developer to join our experienced team in Herlev. You will work on the full software stack for Ethernet switches used in automotive applications, focusing on the application layer and local drivers.

You will participate in requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and documentation, and may mentor colleagues. Depending on interests, you may also take on leadership, contribute to architecture, and collaborate with hardware and

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in C and embedded software development.
Experience with software requirements specification and standards-driven development.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Solid communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Work on the full software stack for Ethernet switches used in automotive applications.
Contribute to the application layer, management interfaces, protocol support and safety features.
Gather requirements, specification, implementation, testing and documentation.
Mentor junior developers and potentially take on leadership responsibilities.
