Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree.
• 6+ years of embedded SW design experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of ARM, Linux, eCos, and VxWorks.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Good analytical skills.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic multi-project environment.
• Team player and self-starter, adaptable to changing market needs.

Responsibilities

• Understand the functionality and specifications of Microchip Ethernet switch products and their application in customer systems.
• Develop embedded systems software for our Ethernet switches.
• Create documentation (user guides, configuration guides and other technical documentation).
• Assist customers with system-level design issues.
• Work with Marketing to identify industry trends and to aid in new product development, plus create demos for trade shows.
• Train factory and corporate apps on the SW products developed by the SW team.
