Job summary

Microchip Denmark is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Developer to join a skilled local team in Herlev. You will work on the full software stack for Ethernet switches used in automotive applications, with emphasis on C-based embedded systems and safety features.

You will contribute to requirements, design, implementation, testing and documentation, and may mentor junior developers or assume leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C and embedded software development.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Solid communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full software stack for Ethernet switches used in automotive applications.
• Work in the application layer on management interfaces, protocol support and safety features.
• Participate in requirements gathering, specification, implementation, testing and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and potentially take on leadership responsibilities.
