Everllence in Denmark is seeking an engineer to advance embedded hardware and software for marine automation. You will research and develop electronic hardware for ship engine control systems and develop embedded software in C++ and Python.

This includes all the engineering aspects from idea to final product roll out.
Ideally you will be able to join the software team for specific projects, and be able to comprehend complex systems from both hardware and software perspectives,
You will gather system test knowledge to run an entire simulation facility with electronic hardware in the loop.

We are a well‑established R&D team of 10 engineers specializing primarily in hardware and FPGA design, complemented by expertise in software development. We also collaborate with 3 full‑time consultants and 3 DTU students.
Together, our team brings expertise across nearly the entire spectrum of electronic engineering disciplines. We design complete electronic hardware controllers from the ground up, including analog circuit design, signal sampling and filtering, power supplies, power integrity, digital electronics, high‑speed design, signal integrity, schematics and PCB layout, EMC, and HALT testing. Our expertise includes FPGA development, VHDL design, testbenches, linting, soft and hard processors, digital bus and memory interfaces, timing analysis, scripting, build and integration processes, automated regression testing on hardware targets, automated simulation environments. In addition, we develop verification and test software and join the development of real‑time engine control embedded software with the software team.
We work closely with colleagues across electronic production, production testing, control software, embedded software, cybersecurity, service and installation engineering.
You will join a comprehensive Automation and Control organization of more than 100 specialists, representing a broad range of electronic engineering disciplines.
