Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund is seeking a Senior Element Designer with strong 3D design capabilities to shape LEGO elements for production. You will balance aesthetics, play value and manufacturability while guiding projects from concept to manufacturing.

You will translate concepts into compelling 3D products, collaborate with engineering, model design, materials and manufacturing, and mentor colleagues. A degree in Industrial Design and proficiency in NX or Rhino are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent with proven product design experience.
• Strong 3D design capabilities and proficiency in NX or Rhino.
• Ability to translate concepts into manufacturable 3D products.

Responsibilities

• Drive Element Design projects from concept exploration to final design for manufacturing.
• Create innovative injection molded elements that expand the LEGO System in Play.
• Lead the development of functional solutions, mechanisms and building experiences.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Model Design, Materials and Manufacturing to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Balance aesthetics, functionality, play value and production requirements throughout development.
