Job summary

LEGO Group is seeking an Element Designer to help shape the next generation of LEGO character and organic elements. You will craft production-ready 3D solutions, collaborating with Concept Designers, Model Designers, Engineers, and Manufacturing teams to balance creativity, quality, and manufacturability.

You will design animals, creatures, wigs, accessories, and specialised building elements while ensuring the LEGO design language is captured in digital sculpts and prototypes.

Qualifications

• Create digital sculpts using 3D sculpting software such as ZBrush or Freeform.
• Translate concepts into production-ready 3D models.
• Deliver designs from concept to delivery across teams.
• Show strong visual communication through sketches and design documentation.
• Apply form, proportion, and silhouette in professional design work.
• Hold a relevant design degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop organic LEGO elements.
• Create digital sculpts and prototypes that capture the LEGO design language.
• Develop animals, creatures, wigs, accessories, costumes, and specialised building elements.
• Produce sketches, presentations, and supporting design documentation.
• Explore new creative opportunities that enhance how children build and play.
• Contribute ideas, insights, and learnings that strengthen the wider design community.
