Job summary
The LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, is seeking a Senior Element Designer with strong 3D design capabilities to shape LEGO System elements from concept to production. You will drive projects, translate concepts into manufacturable 3D products and collaborate with engineering, model design and manufacturing teams to balance aesthetics, play value and production requirements.
Ideal candidates hold a degree in Industrial Design and have experience leading design processes, prototyping and working
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent with proven design experience.
- Strong hardgoods design with understanding of form, proportion and aesthetics.
- Experience driving innovative design problems through creativity and systems thinking.
- Proficiency in 3D design using NX, Rhino or similar software.
Responsibilities
- Drive element design projects from concept to manufacturing.
- Create innovative injection molded LEGO elements.
- Lead development of functional mechanisms and building experiences.
- Translate concepts and user needs into manufacturable 3D products.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Model Design, Materials and Manufacturing.
