Job summary

ETAP is seeking a Solution Engineer Expert to lead electrical power studies and support major customer projects across Europe from our Ballerup, Denmark office. You will apply ETAP for Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash and Harmonic analyses, while collaborating with sales and product teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, deliver trainings, and present technical designs during proposals and demonstrations to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge of Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash and Harmonic Analysis.
• Experience with utilities, industrial facilities, EPCs or renewable energy projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead ETAP engineering studies including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, Harmonic Analysis, Protection Coordination and Motor Acceleration studies.
• Execute advanced studies such as Transient Stability, Reliability Assessment, Load Shedding, BESS, Renewable Integration, Grid Code Compliance, AC/DC Network Analysis and Power Quality studies.
• Support major customer projects throughout Europe by providing technical guidance, model reviews and engineering recommendations.
• Deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concepts and solution presentations during the sales cycle.
• Support proposal development, scope definition and technical bid responses.
• Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex customer cases.
• Deliver ETAP training courses and mentor junior engineers.
• Act as the primary channel for gathering customer requirements and communicating market needs to ETAP Product Management and R&D.
