Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an EHS Manager / EHS Lead to drive environmental, health, and safety programs across large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to achieve top safety performance, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years in high-risk environments on large-scale projects.
• Proven experience as EHS Manager/Lead or equivalent.
• Certifications in EHS are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of project EHS strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Provide EHS leadership through all project phases from planning to handover.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure consistent EHS standards across activities.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance checks.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and safety training campaigns.
• Support contractor EHS evaluations and onboarding.
