Job summary

ProSource Group is recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor to lead EHS practices across multiple European projects for a leading M&E contractor.

You will perform regular site inspections, prepare risk assessments, RAMS, and safety statements, review subcontractor EHS documents, and deliver EHS training. The role requires a Level 7 qualification and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of safety legislation and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Level 7 qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant Health & Safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) inspections across active project sites and monitor compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and issue risk assessments, method statements, and site-specific safety statements in collaboration with Site Foremen, Project Managers, and Contracts Managers.
• Review and approve subcontractor EHS documentation, including RAMS, safety statements, training records, and other compliance documentation prior to submission to the main contractor.
• Deliver and coordinate EHS training and induction programmes for employees and site personnel.
• Attend site Health & Safety meetings and daily EHS briefings, providing guidance and support on safety-related matters.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare detailed reports, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
