Job summary

Terma A/S in Lystrup near Aarhus seeks (Senior) Data Scientists to join the Accelerator team, building AI at the edge for defense applications, handling ingestion, training, and deployment of models. You'll work with sensors, pipelines, and secure systems, collaborating with ML engineers and software developers, in an English-speaking, fast-moving environment with hands-on field work.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with deep learning and machine learning modelling in Python.
• Experience working with sensor data and parsing data to extract information.
• Ability to evaluate AI approaches and define metrics for design decisions.
• Production-ready AI code development including data ingestion and APIs using Docker.

Responsibilities

• Build and evaluate state-of-the-art deep learning and AI models.
• Take ownership of data and AI modelling across key projects.
• Develop models that solve complex, real-world challenges using sensors and large-scale data.
• Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from data acquisition to production-ready predictions.
• Collaborate with data, ML and software engineers to integrate models into scalable, secure systems.
