Job summary

Twoday is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join their AI team and guide the analytical design of AI/ML solutions for Nordic clients. You will frame problems, set success criteria, and oversee production-ready models in collaboration with data engineers and cloud architects.

You will lead, mentor, and grow the Danish data science capability, while engaging customers in framing sessions and pre-sales for AI initiatives. Fluency in Danish is required.

Qualifications

• : Several years of hands-on data science experience, with models in production.
• : Proven ability to translate business objectives into formal AI/ML problems and define success.
• : Deep predictive modelling craft: classification, regression, time series, generative AI.
• : Judgement on algorithmic choice and balancing model complexity with value.
• : Strong applied statistics: validation, uncertainty, and clear explanations.
• : Solid software fundamentals to write production-ready code.
• : Experience applying generative AI and RAG architectures in practice.
• : Understanding GDPR and model governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analytical design of AI/ML solutions from framing to production-ready models.
• Run framing sessions with customers to define target, decision, and success criteria.
• Own the algorithmic approach: baselines, method choice, validation, and value assessment.
• Set analytical standards for reproducibility, experiment tracking, and documentation.
• Collaborate with customers to translate business needs into data-enabled outcomes.
• Mentor data scientists and grow capability across Danish teams.
• Participate in scoping and pre-sales for AI initiatives.
• Stay current with new methods and tools and assess their fit for delivery.
• Act as a local ambassador for our AI/ML offerings.
