Job summary

Twoday Denmark is looking for an experienced Lead AI/ML Architect to lead the engineering work turning ML and GenAI ideas into production, monitored systems. You will collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and cloud architects across Nordics, delivering scalable AI solutions with governance and compliance at the core.

You will own pipelines, deployment automation, model lifecycle, and monitoring, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping engineering standards. Danish fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on AI & ML engineering, with production experience.
• Strong Python and software fundamentals: VCS, testing, packaging, CI/CD.
• Deep MLOps experience: pipelines, monitoring, retraining, drift detection.
• Experience on Azure: Azure ML, Databricks or Fabric.
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform or Bicep, containers, Kubernetes.
• Experience with productionising GenAI, including RAG, prompts, and guardrails.
• Understanding of governance: data lineage, GDPR, access control, EU AI Act relevance.
• Ability to translate technical trade-offs for business stakeholders.
• Leadership shown through mentoring and setting engineering standards.
• <b>Fluent Danish language</b> is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and build of ML/GenAI systems from architecture through production.
• Own ML platform layer: pipelines, deployment automation, lifecycle, monitoring.
• Set engineering standards and reference architectures for reuse.
• Collaborate with customers to shape technical approach and translate requirements.
• Mentor data scientists and engineers and grow ML capability.
• Participate in scoping and pre-sales for AI initiatives.
• Evaluate new tooling and models for production relevance.
