Job summary

Twoday Denmark is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our AI team and lead analytical design for customer engagements. You will translate business problems into well-posed AI tasks, drive production-ready models, and collaborate with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, cloud architects and software developers across Nordics.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on data science experience, including models from prototype to production.
• Ability to translate business objectives into formal AI/ML problems and define success metrics.
• Deep predictive modelling craft across classification, regression, time series and generative AI.
• Strong judgement on algorithmic choice and practical modeling trade-offs.
• Solid applied statistics with transparent uncertainty and communication of results.
• Strong software fundamentals to write reusable code.
• Experience with Azure: Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical design of AI/ML solutions from problem framing to a validated model in production.
• Run framing sessions with customers to define target, decision, and success criteria.
• Own the algorithmic approach, validation strategy, and value assessment of the model.
• Set analytics standards for reproducibility, experiment tracking, and documentation.
• Collaborate with customers to translate business needs into data-supported solutions.
• Mentor data scientists and grow the data science capability.
• Contribute to pre-sales for AI initiatives based on feasibility and data readiness.
