Qualifications

• Strong experience with Apache Kafka topic design and Schema Registry.
• Experience building production streaming applications with Flink or equivalent.
• Proficiency in a JVM language (Java/Scala) for pipeline development.
• Experience running data workloads on Kubernetes and cloud object storage.
• Proven experience in a highly scalable SaaS environment.
• Fluency in English language.

Responsibilities

• Define scalable architectures for event-based ingestion and streaming jobs.
• Build and maintain stateful streaming applications using Flink or equivalent.
• Evaluate and drive decisions on evolving data lakehouse and storage solutions.
• Own operational health, observability, and incident response for data pipelines.
• Embed schema validation and governance into data flows.
• Collaborate with SRE, Analytics, and domain teams.
