Job summary

Saxo Bank is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the Financial Crime Prevention Modelling & Development team in Denmark. You will build and operate AML data products, design robust ETL pipelines, and contribute to scalable, secure production systems across multiple data platforms.

You will collaborate with domain experts to strengthen fraud prevention capabilities, ensure data quality, and support governance, security, and regulatory needs while delivering reliable data products and interfaces

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related production data role.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and improve reusable AML data products, data-modelling components, and interfaces with clear ownership and documentation.
• Design robust ETL pipelines and integration interfaces for operational, analytical, model-development and external-platform use cases.
• Translate FCP and AML requirements into production systems, contributing to solution architecture decisions for scalability and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with FCP and AML SMEs on transaction monitoring, client risk rating, and AML-related development initiatives.
• Define automated checks for completeness, consistency, validity, reconciliation, and governance standards.
• Own observability, incident response, backfills, runbooks, performance tuning, and production support for critical data assets.
• Raise engineering standards through reviews, mentoring, and secure coding practices.
