Job summary

COWI A/S is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee site execution for major infrastructure projects around Copenhagen. You will lead a skilled supervision team, collaborate with the design team, and ensure the project progresses smoothly with close client and contractor dialogue.

You will manage tender reviews, schedules, and cost estimates while coordinating RFIs and technical inputs. Danish and English proficiency are essential for successful collaboration on site.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background in project management, construction, engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering, construction and project management for transportation infrastructure.
• Professional proficiency in Danish and English – both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site execution for infrastructure projects in the local Copenhagen area.
• Lead a supervision team and coordinate with design, client and contractor to progress the project on time and within budget.
• Review tender documents, construction meetings, time schedules and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with the design team for technical input and RFIs, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Liaise with client and contractor to identify priorities and resolve issues on site.
• Provide observations and inspections in collaboration with supervision teams and mobilize inspectors as needed.
