Job summary

COWI Denmark is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to strengthen our cost management capabilities within the Client Consultancy team. You will join the PMO discipline and work on cost estimating, reporting, and tender analysis for buildings and industry projects across Denmark.

You will mentor junior Cost Managers and collaborate with project teams, customers, and partners to deliver robust cost solutions. Danish market knowledge and procurement experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' consulting experience as a Cost Manager in the consultancy industry.
• Cost estimating across all design phases including cost reporting.
• Willingness to mentor junior Cost Managers.
• Familiarity with the Danish construction market (including YBB and YBL standards).
• Knowledge of the contractor and development industry.
• Experience with procurement, tendering, and claims management.
• Proficiency in Danish language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates throughout all project phases, from design through construction incl. follow-up with key stakeholders.
• Assess architectural proposals and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with our Digital Management discipline to develop and refine cost management tools and services for construction and civil engineering projects.
• Generate and present comprehensive cost reports to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
