Job summary

MT Højgaard Danmark is seeking an experienced Project Planner for Civil & Infrastructure in Copenhagen. You will define WBS, track progress, and manage resources for major tunnel projects, collaborating with customers and subcontractors to keep milestones on track.

You will work in-house and on-site at Copenhagen-area projects; a strong engineering background and English fluency are required, with willingness to learn Danish and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, construction management or a similar field.
• +5 years of experience in project planning for civil construction projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Advanced IT skills and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with 3D tools like Solibri and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure the project scope by defining its WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
• Provide progress updates and reporting in line with contractual requirements.
• Plan resources and generate S-curves and histograms.
• Update forecasts, analyze actual vs. planned progress.
• Monitor and control resource usage and project deliverables.
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors and team members to maintain schedule.
• Input into Early Warnings or General Notifications for Time Impact.
• Prepare and present material for Extension of Time and disruption claims.
• Prepare and present decision-making material for Senior Project Management and Customer.
