Job summary

Performativ - Wealth Management Software is seeking a Hands-On Lead Cloud Engineer to guide Mission Control, our Platform Engineering and Reliability team. You will build production infrastructure, lead through technical contribution, and enable product teams to deploy and operate with confidence.

You’ll design secure-by-default platforms, create reusable CDK constructs, and set direction for platform evolution while improving reliability through SLOs, incident tooling, and cost visibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mission Control while remaining hands-on across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and reliability.
• Build and evolve secure-by-default platform enabling product teams to deploy and operate services independently.
• Create reusable AWS CDK constructs and infrastructure standards to reduce complexity and improve developer experience.
• Set the technical direction for Mission Control and guide platform evolution, reliability, and dev experience.
• Strengthen reliability practices with SLOs, error budgets, runbooks, incident tooling, and post-incident improvements.
• Treat cloud cost as a first-class engineering concern by improving visibility and reducing waste.
• Collaborate with security to build secure-by-default platform capabilities and strengthen security posture.
• Oversee evolution of the engineering platform for independent deployment and operation by product teams.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to a small team of platform engineers while delivering.
