Egmont IT is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to build a modern, scalable platform for 120+ subsidiaries. You will operate and optimize multi‑cloud environments (Azure, AWS, with GCP exposure), automate tasks, and strengthen observability using Datadog.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, drift detection, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure stability and security. You will work in a hybrid setup based in Copenhagen, contributing to a cloud‑driven operations team that values

Qualifications

• Proven cloud engineering or DevOps experience in a multi-cloud setup.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure or AWS; GCP is a plus.
• Scripting skills in common languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with IaC tools; Terraform preferred.
• Good understanding of networking principles.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog.
• Experience managing Linux and Windows servers.
• Working with GitHub or similar version control.

Ready to bridge innovation and operations in one of the Nordics' most recognized media brands?

Egmont IT is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer profile who thrives on improving and automating cloud environments, while understanding the importance of stability, governance, and performance.

You’ll join Egmont’s Cloud Operations team, working primarily with Azure, AWS and partially in GCP. Egmont’s cloud footprint is very large and requires that all engineers think about automation and streamlining first.

Your Role & Impact

We are looking for a colleague that is great at asking questions and challenging decisions. We want to build a modern, strong and scalable platform for our many subsidiaries(120+ companies) and we need the right people to do that.

You will be doing hands‑on work on our many platforms and solutions to ensure that we constantly improve on new solutions. As well as evaluating old implementations to determine when it is time to modernize.

• Contribute ideas, challenge the status quo, and help evolve our culture

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

We're looking for a blend of technical expertise and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Desired Skills

• Experience from previous cloud engineering, operations or DevOps roles
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure or AWS (GCP is also a plus)
• Scripting skills in any popular language
• Experience with IaC tools, any apply but we use Terraform
• Good understanding of networking
• Experience working with modern observability tools like Datadog
• Knows how to setup, configure and operate server based infrastructure, running both Linux and Windows
• Working with source control in GitHub or similar providers
• Experience in agentic tooling and a curiosity in following latest trends
