Job description

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.

We’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste, so alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions - such as our Retail Technologies offering, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 122 million registered users and 249,000 active partners across 19 countries, have together already prevented 463+ million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 1.251.000 tonnes of CO2e!

We’re looking for an exceptional Cloud Systems Administrator to join the global IT superstar team at Too Good To Go in Copenhagen.

Your mission

Your mission is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the core IT systems that empower our global team to fight food waste. You will be a key player in managing and evolving our cloud‑first infrastructure, with a strong focus on automating processes to enhance productivity. By managing our critical platforms, such as our identity management and productivity suites (including JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365), you will directly contribute to the success of our mission by enabling our teams to work seamlessly and securely across the globe.

Your role

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our cloud‑native IT environment, focusing on enhancing and automating our core systems to support our global team. This is a hands‑on role where you will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of our IT landscape.

  • Automation & Enhancement: Proactively identify and implement automation solutions to streamline IT and business workflows. You will help manage and enhance our core cloud infrastructure, ensuring it remains secure and performant.
  • Cloud Platform Administration: Take the lead on administering our key platforms, including our identity management system (JumpCloud) and productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
  • Technical Escalation & Problem Solving: Serve as the go‑to technical resource for our IT Support team on complex systems‑level challenges. You’ll take ownership of escalated issues and focus on engineering lasting solutions, not just quick fixes.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments on global IT projects, from planning and implementation to user training and support.
  • Vendor & Documentation Management: Assist in managing relationships with technology vendors and develop clear, comprehensive documentation for our systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Experience Level: Hands‑on experience in a Systems Administration or Systems Engineer role with a demonstrable focus on cloud‑based environments.
  • Core Skills: Proven experience administering identity platforms (like JumpCloud, Okta) and cloud productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
  • Automation: A genuine passion for automation. Practical experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, GAM) is a significant plus, but a strong desire to learn and apply these skills is key.
  • Mindset: You are a proactive and detail‑oriented problem‑solver who is passionate about building efficient, scalable systems. You have a "we win together" attitude and thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced international environment.
  • Communication: You have excellent communication skills in English and can clearly explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
  • We win together: Food waste is a big beast to fight. We believe in a #oneteam.
  • We raise the bar: We always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
  • We keep it simple: Our ambitions are bold but our solutions are simple.
  • We build a legacy: We’re proud of the change we’re driving.
  • We care: We always look out for each other. Caring is also about the way we do business. We do the right thing.
What We Have To Offer
  • An opportunity to work in a global social‑impact company and certified B Corporation! where you can see a real and tangible impact in your role.
  • To be an integral member of our defined product teams. We are eager for you to make an impact and contribute to the product scope and development; Your insights are valuable, and we are here to listen.
  • Work‑life balance is important to us! Focus on the job to be done, not the hours spent, there is no need for overtime.
  • We trust in our employees and encourage an autonomous environment that provides several opportunities for employees to contribute, develop and take ownership of their work in a way that works for them.
  • To be part of an international company, with over 1,300+ colleagues across 19 countries that are on the same important mission.
  • An informal environment, working alongside 190+ passionate people within Tech & Product
  • We celebrate our differences and our successes and have a strong values‑driven team culture.
  • We work in a hybrid set‑up and value in office work weekly.
  • We may be able to support you with a working visa in Copenhagen, please be prepared to discuss this topic further as your first stage interview.

A Movement for Everyone
We want to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.
