Job summary

Lunar Denmark is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Copenhagen team and help scale our Financial Crime Control capabilities. You will design and deliver complex distributed systems, guiding AI tooling usage and mentoring engineers in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to integrate new solutions, optimize data flows, and maintain high reliability across services, leveraging cloud technologies and Go.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of backend experience.
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Experience with Go is a significant advantage.
• Strong interest in AI and familiarity with solutions like OpenAI.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver complex distributed systems to improve Financial Crime Control efficiency.
• Guide teams in the responsible use of AI tooling as part of the stack.
• Lead technical discussions on system design and mentor engineers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to build and integrate new solutions across domains.
• Work with autonomy in an agile environment and drive process improvements.
