As our new DevOps Engineer in Copenhagen, you will join Squad Matrix and report to Jesper, focusing on infrastructure, deployment mechanisms, and operational capabilities for scalable data systems.

Qualifications

• Experience running Kubernetes in production for stateful or distributed systems.
• Comfort with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD tooling and GitOps workflows.
• Strong observability and production reliability understanding.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and internal tooling for engineers.
• Experience operating stateful or data-intensive distributed systems.
• Interest in data infrastructure and scalability challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data-specific Kubernetes capabilities for workloads like Flink, Kafka, and distributed databases.
• Create standardised CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows and deployment automation.
• Own observability and reliability for the data platform with metrics, dashboards and SLOs.
• Reduce manual operations via infrastructure automation and IaC.
• Collaborate with data platform engineers to extend shared foundations for data workloads.
