Job summary

BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Reporting Solutions domain in Roskilde or Warsaw. You will work on data hubs for accounting and regulatory reporting, collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure accurate, reliable data foundations.

You will contribute to the data tech transformation, apply Databricks, SQL and Python, and interact with stakeholders across BEC and client banks. Fluency in English is required; Danish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking or financial IT.
• Experience from banking sector in Denmark preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting, financial, and regulatory data.
• Experience with large and complex datasets.
• Experience with modern platforms such as Databricks.
• Understanding of data modelling and data governance.
• Programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience in agile environments like Scrum or SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Manage incidents and problems in collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Analyze complex accounting and financial datasets to identify patterns and improvements.
• Translate business and accounting requirements into analytical use cases and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Architects to ensure high-quality data foundations.
• Build analytical data products and models supporting regulatory reporting and decisions.
• Participate in the data tech transformation towards a modern data platform using Databricks.
• Develop scalable data science solutions with Databricks, Python, and SQL.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and client engagement.
