Job summary

BEC Financial Technologies is hiring a Development Manager to lead the Accounting Data & Monitoring team within Reporting Solutions. The role is based in Roskilde or Warsaw and focuses on building scalable data products and maintaining reliable financial data across business solutions and reporting processes.

You will manage a 10-15 member team, work with mainframe, Netezza, SAS, Kafka, Databricks, and code in Cobol, Java, Python, and SQL, while collaborating with Accenture in parts of the

Qualifications

• Master degree or higher required.
• 5+ years in a managerial role within Banking or financial IT.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial and regulatory data.
• Experience from the Danish banking sector preferred.
• Experience with agile ways of working (Scrum/SAFe).
• Strong recruitment and people-management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 10-15 person multi-disciplinary team of analysts, engineers and architects.
• Own systems, platforms and data for Finance in the domain.
• Manage incidents, problems, and architectural alignment.
• Oversee lifecycle management, compliance and vulnerabilities.
• Deliver the team backlog while balancing strategy and operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and architecture teams; ensure transparency.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and solutions.
• Align recruitment and skill development to the roadmap.
• Mentor and develop team members; foster shared accountability.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration across domains.
