BEC Financial Technologies is hiring a Development Manager to lead the Accounting Data & Monitoring team within Reporting Solutions. The role is based in Roskilde or Warsaw and focuses on building scalable data products and maintaining reliable financial data across business solutions and reporting processes.

• Master degree or higher required.

Would you like to lead the Accounting Data & Monitoring team in Reporting Solutions responsible for several business-critical data hubs of accounting and financial data used in business solutions and reporting processes? Do you want to build a team in Reporting Solutions for a specific business purpose? Do you want a leading role in the data tech transformation in BEC, soon to be Nykredit Financial Technologies?

BEC is looking for a Development Manager to join the Reporting Solutions domain. The position will be based at our friendly office in Roskilde or Warsaw.

Reporting Solutions plays a vital role in ensuring compliance of BEC’s member banks by managing a portfolio of 40+ business solutions within the business areas of Credit Risk and Finance Solutions, including several business-critical data hubs that support banks' business processes, internal reporting, and obligations in regulatory reporting.

Youwill head the Accounting Data & Monitoringteam with responsibility for both maintenance and development of a portfolio of business solutions that ensureaccurate, reliable, and traceable accounting and financial data across business solutions and reporting processes. Part of the business solutions are managed in a partnership with Accenture.

You will join a high‑performing, cross‑functional team, combining solid business knowledge with strong software engineering practices. The team works with Mainframe, Netezza, SAS, Kafka, and Databricks platforms and does coding in Cobol, Java, Python, and SQL and apply BI tools such as PowerCenter and SAP Business Objects. The team is currently situated in Herning, Roskilde, and Warsaw but will transition and consolidate in Roskilde and Warsaw by end of 2027.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of BEC’s data tech transformation, using modern, Cloud‑based technologies and event‑driven architectures to build scalable data products to substitute for current business solutions. This will give banks easier access to trusted, consistent data, whether for self‑service analytics, reporting, regulatory requirements, or operational processes.

Your direct manager will be Development Director, Mikkel Kallerup Olsen.

Your primary task and responsibilities include:

• Manage a team of 10-15 highly dedicated Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Architects.
• Maintain ownership of all systems, platforms, and data within the business area of Finance. Solutions, ensuring operational stability and scalability.
• Manage incidents and problems effectively while ensuring alignment with architectural principles and guidelines.
• Oversee lifecycle management, compliance, audits, patches, and technical vulnerabilities.
• Ensure delivery of the team backlog, balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with vendors, architecture teams, and other domains to ensure transparency on progress, decisions, and dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement of work processes, collaboration, and technical solutions.
• Align recruitment and skill development activities to the domain’s road map and long‑term needs.
• Build a high-performing team, fostering professional growth through mentoring and training.
• Promote a culture of cross‑functional collaboration and shared accountability.

To succeed you will have:

• A relevant Master degree.
• 5y+ work experience as Manager from Banking or financial IT.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial, and regulatory data.
• Preferably, work experience from the banking sector in Denmark.
• Preferably, work experience as Project Manager.
• Preferably, experience in managing external vendors.
• Experience of working in agile setups like Scrum or SAFe.
• Excellent people management skills, especially recruitment skills.
• Proven track record in change management of technology.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
