Job summary

European Energy A/S in Copenhagen is seeking an Associate, Project Finance to help fund its growing renewable energy pipeline. You will work directly with the Senior Associate and deal team on live transactions from day one.

This role focuses on financial modelling, running scenarios, and coordinating with lenders and advisors. If you have 0–2 years in finance, strong Excel skills, and an interest in renewables, you will thrive at EE.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in finance or related field.
• Strong quantitative and Excel skills and aptitude for financial modelling.
• Interest in developing a career in project finance and renewable energy.
• Structured, thorough, and quick to learn.
• Collaborative, clear communicator, willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide ad-hoc support to the transaction team as directed.
• Become well‑versed in the financial model and able to run scenarios and sensitivities.
• Support the Senior Associate in maintaining the dataroom and coordinating lender/advisor Q&A.
• Assist in preparing transaction information materials.
• Support due diligence and documentation processes as needed.
