Job summary

BioLib in Denmark seeks a Senior Associate in Biological Data Science to bridge biology, software, and client advisory. You will translate researchers' questions into robust analyses and practical tools.

From scoping to delivery, you will own workstreams, collaborating with BioLib's scientists and engineers to make modern biological data science accessible to teams with diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field such as CS, SE, Data Science or Bioinformatics.
• 2+ years of consulting experience in pharma or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with project ownership.
• Proficiency with Python and/or R for building analytics workflows.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects from scoping to delivery, defining scientific questions.
• Translate complex biological questions into actionable analyses and insights.
• Develop tailored analyses, tools and workflows using Python, R and BioLib platform.
• Evaluate emerging methods to select best approaches for research challenges.
• Collaborate with BioLib scientists and engineers to implement new solutions.
