JYSK seeks a Senior AI Engineer to own the full AI lifecycle—from model development and training to scalable deployment and operation. You will bridge software engineering with ML, focusing on end-to-end AI applications and production readiness on GCP.

You will develop AI agents, RAG workflows, and advanced models across NLP, vision, and generative AI, collaborating with data and platform teams to deliver impactful AI products. Remote-friendly with a strong onboarding culture.

Competenze

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering and AI solutions at scale.
• Strong foundation in ML algorithms spanning discriminative and generative models.
• Hands-on production experience deploying and monitoring AI models, preferably on GCP.
• Experience building AI agents with RAG systems and LLMs is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing AI solutions that drive innovation, enable data-driven decision-making, improve operations, and enhance customer experiences. You will bridge software engineering and machine learning, focusing on model experimentation, deployment, and integration to create scalable, efficient, and reusable solutions.

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

• Develop and scale end-to-end AI applications and MLOps pipelines using your deep software engineering background.
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI agent systems, from orchestration and tool integration to production deployment and monitoring.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, embedding workflows, and semantic search solutions where appropriate.
• Research, experiment with, and develop classical and state-of-the-art AI models across NLP, Computer Vision, Deep Generative Models, Graph Neural Networks, and Reinforcement Learning to improve and optimize JYSK’s business processes.
• Collaborate closely with data, AI, and platform engineers on complex projects to integrate cutting-edge models into impactful AI products.
• Managing AI workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure optimal performance and resource efficiency.
• Working with architects to refine AI solution design and contributing to solution planning phases.
• Supporting end-users of AI solutions with a "you build it, you own it" mindset.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

We are looking for a new colleague who:

• Holds a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. A PhD is considered an advantage.
• Has 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, designing and implementing AI solutions at scale using Python.
• Has a strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, with experience spanning both discriminative and generative models applied to structured data, natural language, and vision.
• Has experience developing, deploying, operating, and monitoring AI models in production at scale, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (or equivalent experience with Azure or AWS and a willingness to work with GCP).
• Has hands-on experience in one of the following areas: Building AI agents at scale integrated with advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. Pre-training, fine-tuning, or post-training large language models (LLMs). Developing and deploying state-of-the-art generative AI solutions for computer vision in real-world environments.
• Works independently on complex technical challenges while collaborating effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
