Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to design and build scalable AI solutions that drive value across the organization. You will partner with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver agentic AI applications while ensuring responsible development practices.

You will work in a hybrid setup across multiple Nordic and European locations, embedding with business areas to gain domain expertise and enable future transitions into business teams where AI expertise is

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience architecting, developing and deploying AI/ML in production.
Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

End-to-end delivery of impactful AI applications: architecture, implementation, integration, testing and production rollout.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product teams to design robust AI systems.
Explore emerging AI tools and frameworks and build proofs of concept for Nordea use cases.
Technical scoping and estimation for AI use cases.
Define and promote engineering best practices: code reviews, CI/CD, testing, documentation.
Champion ethical, safe, and sustainable AI practices throughout the lifecycle.
