Job summary

Nordea is seeking Expert AI Specialists to lead on reliable, secure and scalable AI-enabled platforms and workflows. You will own AI infrastructure, guide teams in responsible AI adoption, and work with SRE to modernize cloud-based services with Kubernetes and Mirantis tooling.

Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant experience in IT operations, SRE, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong DevOps and operations expertise across support, maintenance, deployment and automation.
• Deep experience with cloud operations in Google Cloud; familiarity with AWS/Azure is a plus.
• Advanced troubleshooting using logs, metrics and traces; proficient in Linux/Unix.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Git-based workflows.
• Experience designing or operating AI-enabled solutions and AI workflows.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with stakeholders in English.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of reliable, secure, scalable cloud and AI-enabled services and participate in on-call rotations.
• Define observability practices: logging, monitoring, SLOs, incident response and production readiness (Google Cloud focus).
• Design and implement AI-enabled environments, agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Provide guidance to users and engineering teams; resolve complex platform issues and promote adoption.
• Own the lifecycle of development, test and production platforms to maintain performance.
• Drive technical decisions based on evidence, architecture and governance requirements.
• Share knowledge and raise engineering quality across the team.
