hummel A/S, headquartered in Aarhus, is seeking a Finance Operations professional to own core accounting processes end to end, including invoicing, vendor payments, reconciliations and VAT reporting. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep numbers accurate, compliant and moving forward.

You will join a 15-person Finance team supporting hummel Group across multiple markets, contributing to process improvements and the ongoing Dynamics 365 Business Central

Qualifications

• Broad, hands-on experience across VAT, Intrastat, general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a big advantage.
• You are confident working in Excel.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end VAT handling and reporting for Group Level and multiple European countries.
• Process payments and other financial tasks related to vendors.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support to the accounting team.
• Accounts receivable end-to-end for specific markets.
• Handle service- and royalty invoicing and credit note processes.
• Handle general ledger bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in reimplementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Continia products.

You will be joining a Finance team of 15 people responsible for financial operations, controlling, compliance, accounting and reporting across the hummel Group, working closely with colleagues across the business as well as external partners such as banks, auditors and suppliers and reporting directly to Finance Operations Manager.

As hummel keeps growing across markets, our Finance team needs someone who keeps the numbers accurate, compliant and moving forward. This role owns core accounting processes end to end - from invoicing and vendor payments to reconciliations and VAT reporting - and plays an active part in sharpening how we work.
YOUR PLAYING FIELD

• VAT handling and reporting at Group Level including different European countries
• One Stop Shop VAT
• Process payments and other financial tasks related to vendors
• Provide general accounting and administrative support to accounting team
• Accounts receivable end to end for specific markets

• Solid accounting experience, ideally from an international company
• Broad, hands-on experience across VAT, Intrastat, general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable
• A track record of running accounting processes accurately and helping optimize and structure administrative workflows
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a big advantage
• You are confident working in Excel
