Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a SCADA Server Infrastructure Engineer to own and continuously improve the server platforms underpinning Fleet-Level OT applications in a renewable energy environment. You will engineer, deploy, monitor and safeguard Windows and Linux server infrastructures across virtualised and physical environments, while collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and customers in Esbjerg.

You will drive lifecycle management, security hardening, DR planning and incident response,

Qualifications

Degree in IT Infrastructure, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Strong foundation in server infrastructure with ownership from analysis through deployment, operation and ongoing improvement.
Excellent written and spoken English; Danish proficiency is a plus; valid driver’s license and car access required.

Responsibilities

Support daily operations of BA Wind Operational Control Centre and Maritime Control Centre in Esbjerg.
Engineer, deploy and improve virtual and physical Fleet-Level OT server environments.
Plan lifecycle activities: maintenance, upgrades, replacements and decommissioning.
Design and validate backup, restore, high‑availability and failover solutions.
Monitor server performance, capacity and availability; conduct root‑cause analysis.
Document tasks, changes and procedures; assist with supplier collaboration and audits.
