Job summary

Hive Robots ApS in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, seeks a hands-on Robot Engineer to keep the fleet in known-good condition through preventive maintenance, calibration, inspection and bring-up. This is a high-trust, on-site role at the heart of the operation, giving you the authority to decide when a robot is fit for operation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electromechanical service experience on real equipment.
• A methodical, documenting work style with traceable changes.
• Comfort with Linux basics, SSH and networks.
• Professional confidence to maintain quality under schedule pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and service: cabling, fasteners, wear parts, mechanical condition.
• Run calibration routinely, including the teleoperation rig.
• Own the inspection routine and its records to keep trends visible.
• Handle new-platform and new-unit bring-up.
• Communicate with the robot vendor to troubleshoot problems.
• Make the final call on whether a robot is fit for operation.
• Work closely with engineering teams that depend on the fleet.
