Job summary

Siemens Healthineers seeks a Remote Software Field Service Engineer to support NRB customers across Nordic regions, troubleshooting IT systems, and guiding on-site and remote service activities.

You will collaborate with global teams, maintain accurate service records, and leverage Microsoft technologies while traveling as needed. A Bachelor's in CS and strong English skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Excellent English; Nordic language knowledge is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with IIS, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and Windows architecture.
• Networking fundamentals and virtualization knowledge (Parallels, XenApp).
• Familiar with ITIL and IT service management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist, troubleshoot and provide technical guidance and support.
• Maintain detailed service records in company systems.
• Track issues and coordinate with escalation teams and developers.
• Collaborate with colleagues worldwide for troubleshooting and projects.
• Interact with customers on-site and remotely to resolve issues.
• Update Knowledge Base with technical guides and tips.
• Travel occasionally for on-site installations and maintenance.
