Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in Denmark drives wind turbine controller development and validation. You will tune controllers using aeroelastic simulations, review results, and coordinate with Turbine Loads, Software, Certification and Testing teams.

As you progress, you’ll work with prototype data and contribute to turbine validation activities at our Østerild site, in a hands-on engineering role focused on controller development rather than project management or software development.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Control, Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace).
• Strong MATLAB skills and familiarity with Python for tooling and data analysis.
• Fluent English written and spoken; ability to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Tune wind turbine controllers using aeroelastic simulations and engineering analysis.
• Analyze simulation and test results to understand loads, performance and behaviour.
• Support development of new controller functionalities from early studies to prototype validation.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering tools, reports, methods and processes and help implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Turbine Loads, Certification, Testing, Software and component design teams and communicate findings.
