Job summary

Siemens Energy in Denmark invites a Software Engineer to join the High-Performance Development team focused on improving and maintaining our power plant control software deployed to wind farms worldwide.

You’ll investigate support cases, perform remote troubleshooting, and conduct event analysis, then continue with regular development tasks in an agile team, writing high-quality code with unit and integration tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in C# and automated testing; experience with CI/CD and agile methodologies; exposure to C++ and Python.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols, cybersecurity, and secure system integration (PKI, authentication, IEC 62443).

Responsibilities

• Develop/maintain a C# .NET platform that supports real-time control.
• Design and develop data services to process and store large wind-farm data.
• Focus on cyber solutions within the software stack.
• Develop configuration validation, monitoring and tooling.
• Clarify and mature requirements.
• Contribute to planning.
