Job summary

Partner Company in Denmark is seeking a Revenue & Billing Analyst. You’ll own the financial operations across the customer lifecycle, from billing and accounts receivable to collections, reconciliations, and revenue reporting in a fully remote, async-first environment.

You’ll collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams, drive automation in billing and reporting, handle MRR/ARR movements, and help ensure data accuracy while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• Experience owning billing and accounts receivable or collections, including investigating exceptions and driving issues to resolution.
• Proven experience resolving complex customer billing or payment issues directly with customers.
• Experience with subscription billing in SaaS or recurring-revenue environments.
• Strong reconciliation skills to investigate discrepancies between financial, billing and customer data.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills with financial data and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to improve recurring Finance processes through automation and workflows.
• Comfortable working with AI and automation tools while maintaining controls and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Autonomy, organization and problem-solving in a fully remote, async-first setting.
• Around four years of relevant experience is typical, but ownership and impact matter more than exact years.
• Collaborative and inclusive mindset with interest in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end billing process, including invoicing, subscription changes, payment queries, refunds, failed payments, credit notes, and corrections within approved limits.
• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and dunning, resolving payment disputes directly with customers.
• Partner with Customer Success on complex billing cases and ensure resolution.
• Investigate recurring billing issues and improve underlying processes to prevent recurrence.
• Perform reconciliations across billing, payments, subscription reporting and the general ledger.
• Produce and analyse MRR/ARR movement reporting to explain changes in recurring revenue.
• Improve finance automations across billing, AR, collections and reporting.
• Support changes to billing platforms, pricing and packaging from a Finance perspective with cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to an inclusive, high-performing remote team culture.
