Job summary

Commvault is seeking a Sales Engineer to coordinate pre-sales engagements with current and prospective clients. The role requires translating business needs into technical requirements, sizing delivery approaches, and supporting deal acceptance.

You will lead demonstrations, pilots, and proof-of-concept activities while collaborating with sales, engineering and product management teams to ensure customer success and revenue growth. Remote work option available.

Qualifications

• Experience in the software or storage industry.
• Proven ability to deliver, present, sell and support enterprise/Commercial clients.
• Strong knowledge of sales methodologies and strategic account planning.
• Ability to work remotely and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the account team to formulate territory plans and sales strategies.
• Engage with external partners and internal departments to drive campaigns and customer success.
• Qualify customer issues and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and present case studies and proof-of-concepts for opportunities.
• Participate in sales meetings and provide technical leadership across topics.
