Job summary

Siemens Energy S.r.l. is seeking an experienced EHS Lead for Europe and Africa to drive Environment, Health & Safety across Grid Technologies Service. You will implement the EHS strategy, strengthen a Zero Harm culture, and ensure governance, compliance, and performance across projects, field service and operations.

You will partner with regional leadership, manage risk, and support sustainable growth while leading diverse teams in a matrix organization and traveling internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
• Significant leadership experience in EHS within energy, industrial, construction, project, or field service environments.
• 7–8 years leading EHS programs across multiple countries and cultures.
• Strong knowledge of EHS management systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead through influence and build high-performing matrix teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the EHS strategy and roadmap for Grid Technologies Service across Europe & Africa.
• Lead and support subregional EHS teams, advising leadership and ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards and legal requirements.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture through leadership and field engagement.
• Drive EHS performance management, including investigations, risk reviews, audits, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Integrate EHS into project execution, field service operations, contractor management, and business growth activities across the region.
• Foster collaboration and leverage digital EHS solutions and data analytics.
