Job summary

International Environmental Services Company in Denmark seeks a Head of EHSQ to lead the EHSQ agenda across a major operation, building a capable team and driving meaningful change. You will partner with Operations to align safety culture with business priorities.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a technical field and at least 5 years of EHSQ experience in production, with Danish and English fluency. You will report to senior operations leadership and steer continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHSQ experience in a production or process environment.
• Fluent in Danish and English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety leadership & culture — safety walks, root cause analysis, CEO/COO support, building awareness of the WHY behind every requirement.
• Communication & trust with Operations — one shared understanding of EHSQ, rules made understandable, dialogue not dictate.
• Legal compliance & regulatory affairs — read the law and its intent, maintain full regulatory overview, manage authority relationships constructively.
• Systems & continuous improvement — ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001, build procedures and structures fit for a growing organisation.
