Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks an EHS Manager within Grid Technologies Service to drive environmental, health, and safety excellence across the Nordic region and ensure regulatory compliance across service operations. You will engage with management to identify risks, lead incident investigations, and foster a robust safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, substantial EHS management experience in industrial or energy environments, and strong knowledge of safety

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in EHS management within industrial, energy, engineering, construction, or field service environments.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation methodologies, with experience in high-risk work environments.
  • Preferred certifications include CSP, CIH, or NEBOSH Diploma.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with local legislation and Siemens Energy requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across the Nordic region through regular workplace inspections and safety audits.
  • Lead investigations of incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analyses and tracking corrective actions to enhance safety measures.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture by delivering EHS training programs and supporting competency development across the organization.
  • Act as the primary EHS point of contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, integrating EHS requirements into daily operations and project execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

What You Bring

You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.


Significant experience in EHS management within industrial, energy, engineering, construction, or field service environments.


Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation methodologies, with experience in high-risk work environments.


Preferred certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or NEBOSH Diploma.


You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, enabling you to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
