Qualifications

  • Experience in digital signal processing for audio.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ for real-time audio applications.
  • Strong understanding of fixed-point and floating-point arithmetic.
  • Ability to translate prototype algorithms into production-ready code.
  • Knowledge of embedded audio systems performance, memory, and hardware constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimise real-time audio processing algorithms for embedded systems in next-generation consumer products.
  • Contribute to project planning, task estimation, and execution, with scope and ownership adjusted to experience level.
  • Collaborate closely with acousticians, hardware engineers, and software teams to optimize audio performance and ensure robust system integration.
  • Support knowledge sharing within the team and contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and workflows.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, contributing insights to the technology strategy and product introductions.
  • Explore, design and prototype new algorithm technologies and audio features.
